The Fiji Surf Tour takes you to these legendary breaks with guides who surf them every day of their lives and know every nuance of every wave.

For experienced surfers, this is the trip of a lifetime. For beginners and intermediates, the inside reefs and gentler breaks of the same area offer world-class surf in warm water with expert guidance.

The Experience

Hotel pickup to the boat departure point. Groups are split by ability level on arrival — beginners to sheltered inside reefs, intermediates to peeling outer reefs, experienced surfers to Cloudbreak and Restaurants. Guides manage the session, advising on conditions, timing, and positioning. Between sessions: scenic cruising through the Mamanucas.

Best Time to Surf Fiji

April to November for consistent swells and offshore winds. Year-round warm water (27–29°C) makes Fiji surfable any time. The famous southern groundswell peaks in June–August — when Cloudbreak delivers its most legendary conditions.

Tips

• Bring your own board if you have one — especially for experienced surfers who prefer specific shapes
• Reef booties strongly recommended for outer reef breaks
• Tell your guide your honest skill level — they will put you at the right break
• Apply reef-safe sunscreen — you will be in the sun all day
